By unit is meant a legal entity within the organization.
When installing in an organization where only one unit/legal entity exists, the unit concept can instead be used to create an additional structural level for the documents, a unit can thus consist of department or other business-related concepts such as product, market area or the like.
To view existing units, first select a unit from the drop-down list at the top of the window and then click View.
- If you want to edit an existing unit, click on the current unit and the form for the unit will be displayed.
- To create a new unit, click the New button and the form for creating a new unit will appear.
|Name||Enter the name that will identify the unit in the system. Required information.|
|Description||Enter additional description of the unit.|
|The unit is connected to company:||Here you choose which company the unit should be connected to. A unit can only be linked to one company that must be included in the system.|
Delete a company by clicking on it in the list and then clicking Delete.
